About Moorlands

Moorlands Camps is a non-denominational, non-profit Christian campsite located near Spur Tree Hill, Jamaica, West Indies.  Founded in 1938, about 3,000 people pass through our gates each year, participating in programs which impart strong Christian and character-building values.

Our Mission is to run well-rounded Summer Camps for young people, in order to introduce Jesus Christ and His relevance to them; to develop the spiritual lives of those who profess and call themselves Christians; and to promote camps, conferences and conventions for the purpose of making Jesus Christ known.

For over 70 years, Moorlands’ Summer Camps have had a significant impact on the lives of many who are now leaders in Jamaica, in both Christian and secular communities. Moorlands has been the place where many young Christians have been challenged to surrender their all to the service of God, and where many have met with the Lord in new and deeper dimensions. Many others have been positively influenced during their camp days, and so often will remember Moorlands as “being the best days of my life”.
